How Many Dudes Guide is an independent English-language reference for players of the July 2026 full release. It is designed around complete answers, visible evidence, and version labels—not page count.

Editorial rules

Section titled “Editorial rules”
  1. Primary sources first. Current gameplay, permitted observations, official pages, the official Dudex, and developer patch notes outrank third-party summaries.
  2. Uncertainty stays visible. A fact is labeled Verified, Reported, Derived, or Unknown. Unknown details are not quietly filled with guesses.
  3. Legacy builds stay separate. The January 2026 browser build is not evidence for a full-release strategy unless the current game reproduces the behavior.
  4. No thin database copies. A Dude, Relic, or Trinket gets a dedicated page only when it adds at least three meaningful differentiators or equivalent original value.
  5. Corrections are versioned. Volatile pages record a checked date and should be reverified after balance, content, or Dudex changes.

Current scope

The first repository build covers a starter checklist, cross-platform save setup, and a release-facts reference. It deliberately does not publish “best build” or tier-list claims because the required firsthand full-release runs are not yet documented.
